This role enables the business to govern the lifecycle of records and information (data) thereby increasing productivity, enabling compliance and mitigating risk to EY, our people, and our clients.
Accountable for implementation, execution, consultation, and advising of Global RIM program and initiatives across Oceania, including lifecycle management (creation, use, storage/archive, retention, and disposition), awareness and learning, quality and compliance, technology and people and performance management.This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia.
Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.
Please speak with us about potential options.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate RIM expertise and serve as a trusted advisor accountable for implementation and execution of Global RIM program and initiatives across Oceania: including but not limited to policies, standards, processes, controls and resources; enable local processes that adhere to the Global RIM policy/standardsAdvance RIM program growth and maturity in Oceania and strengthen, optimal compliance and program sustainability through monitoring and testing in accordance with EY's compliance monitoring frameworkUnderstand and track use of relevant Service Delivery tools, designated storage locations, and archives by the Oceania SL and facilitate periodic and routine disposition of eligible records (information/data); may oversee secure disposal of records and information services; point of contact for third party off-storage (paper) contract managementServe as a business advisor and the primary point-of-contact in the Oceania for RIM-related matters, Re-Req requests; RIM incident reporting; client assurance/RIM-related inquiries; Privacy impact Assessment (PIA) retention consultation; and Acquisitions or DivestituresEstablish and manage strategic relationships; collaborate closely and conduct or participate in periodic and routine engagement with SL/CBS (Business Enablement) / Oceania leaders to build awareness and identity and address potential RIM risks,



strategic needs and opportunities in the regionParticipate in Oceania RIM network community, attend meetings; share/collaborate/action; provide feedback on program enhancements/other risk mitigationDeliver learning and awareness in key areas of Policy, RIM industry guiding principles and leading practices, EY compliance reporting and high performing teaming conceptsDrive change and evolve RIM at the Oceania to address RIM issues and collectively enhance the effectiveness and risk management of RIM globallyYou also agree to perform all other reasonable duties and comply with reasonable and lawful instructions by the FirmSkills And Attributes For SuccessLeads by example and models behaviors that support a culture of safety, health and wellness.Strategic Communicator: Capable of articulating complex RIM policies, data risk and compliance requirements clearly to diverse global stakeholders and senior leadershipInfluential Leader: Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, drive organisational change and enforce compliance across a corporate environmentHighly analytical: Strong problem-solving skills required to manage incident reporting and mitigate enterprise data riskDetail oriented: Exceptional organization focus for managing the records lifecycle, routine disposition and compliance monitoring framework testingAccountable: demonstrates high ownership over the implementation and execution of global programs and policies at the local level.Demonstrated experience establishing and operating governance and risk management frameworks, including designing and implementing process controls, defining risk and compliance measures, monitoring control effectiveness, identifying and assessing risks, reporting findings and driving corrective and risk-mitigation actions.Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
