The Incubation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the incubation process at our hatchery in Rochester.
The successful candidate will preferably have a background in incubation and animal husbandry, as well as experience in a supervisory role.
The Incubation Supervisor will lead a team of incubation technicians to ensure that eggs are properly cared for and hatched in a safe and healthy setting.
Responsibilities: Manage and supervise a team of incubation technicians Monitor and adjust incubation parameters to ensure optimal hatch rates Ensure that eggs are handled and stored properly to prevent contamination Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate with other departments to coordinate hatch schedules and deliveries Train new employees on proper incubation techniques and procedures Keep accurate records of hatch rates, egg fertility, and other relevant data Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the incubation process Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of disease Qualifications: Experience in incubation or animal husbandrypreferred Previous supervisory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and leadership skills Job Title: Incubation Supervisor Location: Rochester Job Description: The Incubation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the incubation process at our hatchery in Rochester.
