Operating across Melbourne's western suburbs, this role is designed for a technical expert who excels in structured environments and possesses a dedicated focus on safety and delivery excellence.Key Responsibilities:Operational Oversight: Direct all in office activities from inception to completion, ensuring seamless project execution.Subcontractor Management: Lead and supervise diverse trades and site personnel to maintain high performance and accountability.Compliance & Safety:



Uphold rigorous OH&S; standards and ensure all government-mandated quality requirements are met.Program Delivery: Drive construction schedules, proactively resolve site-based issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved within budget.Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for consultants, inspectors, and project stakeholders.Professional Requirements:Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager within the institutional or government sectors in Victoria.Carpentry background is essentialA willing, hardworking attitude, with a long term growth mindset.Comprehensive understanding of construction programming, budget management, and multi-priority workflows.Relevant trade background or tertiary qualification in Construction Management.Strong leadership capabilities with a solutions-oriented, autonomous work ethic.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
