Ideal for Project Coordinators, Site Engineers or Project Engineers from a head contractor background looking to accelerate their career.About UsKapitol is one of Australia's fastest-growing design and construct businesses, delivering award-winning projects across the commercial, residential, industrial and Data Centre sectors.As our Data Centre portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Project Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in the delivery of complex, technically challenging projects that support Australia's digital future.This is an chance to work alongside experienced Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Managers and Services teams on projects where precision, coordination and technical excellence matter.Whether you're currently a Project Coordinator, Site Engineer or Project Engineer, this role offers exposure to large-scale mission-critical projects and a genuine pathway for career growth.The OpportunityWorking within a collaborative project team, you'll take ownership of specific project packages and scopes of work, supporting delivery from procurement through to completion.You'll work closely with Trade Partners, consultants and internal stakeholders to drive programme outcomes, coordinate technical documentation and ensure the highest standards of quality and project delivery are achieved.This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a quick‐paced environment, thrives on problem solving, is highly organised and wants to develop their career delivering some of Australia's most complex construction projects.What You'll DoOwn specific project packages and scopes of work across complex Data Centre developmentsDrive programme outcomes by ensuring materials, approvals, drawings and critical information are available when requiredBuild and manage strong relationships with Trade Partners and subcontractors to ensure safety,



quality and programme objectives are achievedCoordinate procurement activities, subcontractor onboarding and package delivery throughout the project lifecycleReview shop drawings, technical submissions and project documentation to ensure compliance, buildability and alignment with project requirementsSupport design coordination across consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to resolve issues before they impact deliveryDrive Quality Assurance outcomes through inspections, documentation management and subcontractor accountabilityIdentify risks, remove delivery roadblocks and maintain project momentumWork closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Managers and Services teams on technically complex projectsContribute to a positive team culture and support the development of Graduates and CadetsWhat You'll BringDegree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related disciplineExperience working for a Head Contractor in a Project Coordinator, Site Engineer or Project Engineer capacityExposure to the delivery of large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, mission‐critical or technically complex projectsStrong understanding of the project lifecycle, from procurement and design coordination through to construction delivery and project close‐outExperience managing subcontractors, coordinating project packages and driving programme outcomesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Trade Partners, consultants and project teamsA proactive,



solutions‐focused approach and the ability to thrive in fast‐paced project environmentsExperience using industry platforms such as Aconex, HammerTech, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam or similarHighly DesirablePrevious experience delivering Data Centre or mission‐critical projectsExperience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builderCompletion of a structured Graduate Programme with a recognised Head ContractorExposure to services‐intensive projects involving significant mechanical and electrical interfacesWhy Kapitol?
