We're building our founding team and want to hear from experienced structural engineers across a range of seniority levels — whether you're a few years into your career or ready to step into a senior/associate position with leadership responsibilities.Depending on your experience,



your role may include:Structural design and analysis across a variety of project typesPreparation of drawings, specifications, and reportsLiaising with clients, architects, and other consultantsMentoring junior engineers (for more senior applicants)Contributing to business development and technical leadership as the practice grows (Associate level)Helping establish internal standards, templates, and workflows for a new practiceAbout YouBachelor's degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringCPEng / RPEQ (or working towards)Proven experience in structural design (junior to senior/associate level considered)Proficiency in relevant structural software (e.g. SpaceGass, Strand7, ETABS, RAM, RAPT)Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaborativelyFor Associate-level applicants: demonstrated leadership, client management, and mentoring experienceWhy Join Shephard Group?
