The role will play a key part in improving data maturity, enabling trusted reporting, analytics and data-driven decision making across the organisation.You will also support data security, governance and compliance initiatives aligned with ISO *****:****, ASD Essential Eight and NIST Cybersecurity Framework principles.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own Ventura's enterprise data strategy and architecture roadmapDesign and guide implementation of a centralised data platform (data warehouse / data lake)Establish data modelling, integration and architecture standardsDesign data ingestion,



transformation and storage architecturesImplement data governance frameworks including data ownership, quality and lifecycle managementEnable contemporary reporting and analytics, including Power BIIdentify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve operational performance and decision makingSupport integration with modern analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or SnowflakeReduce reliance on manual and spreadsheet-based reportingEnsure data architecture aligns with security and compliance frameworksProvide guidance on data integration for new systemsMentor and support data and technology team membersAbout YouYou are a strategic thinker who enjoys working at both enterprise architecture and hands-on delivery levels.
