Additionally, these roles will focus on designing, integrating, and validating complex tenant environments tailored to specific use cases, supporting critical customer objectives.The OpportunityAs a Systems Integrator, you will lead and execute the build, configuration and integration of secure ICT systems, ensuring capability is delivered, tested and transitioned into operational use.This is a 5-month secondment chance, focused on delivering a defined capability uplift, with a strong emphasis on hands- on system integration and technical delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead system build and integration activities across the project capabilityConfigure and validate Defence-provided hardware, laptops and network componentsInstall, harden and configure operating systems and application softwareConfigure secure networking components including switches, firewalls and encrypted mesh connectivityImplement accounts, permissions and host-based security controlsDevelop and maintain technical documentation including build guides, SOPs and installation instructionsDesign and execute functional and performance testing activitiesValidate system performance, stability and offline operational capabilityImplement and test backup, recovery and resilience mechanismsSupport transition to operations,
including handover documentation and stakeholder engagementAbout YouEssential for this role:Proven experience in system integration, system administration or infrastructure engineeringExperience configuring and integrating hardware, operating systems and network componentsStrong understanding of secure ICT environments and system hardening practicesExperience with testing, validation and troubleshooting integrated systemsAbility to develop clear and structured technical documentationStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teamsAdvantageous, but not essential:Experience within Defence or government environmentsExposure to secure or air-gapped systems and networksFamiliarity with mesh networking, encryption or offline-capable systemsExperience supporting ATO-aligned or governed delivery environmentsThis role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain NV2 security clearance and DISA.What to Expect When You ApplyOur hiring process is designed to be straightforward, respectful and easy to navigate.
