Our custom-built facility hosts precision instrumentation, cutting edge technology and is complimented by a highly experienced expert team of well-trained clinical and administrative staff who share the vision of a surgical centre of excellence.Job Summary:Reporting to the Theatre Management Team, you will play a critical role in providing anaesthesia care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
This position requires a high level of expertise in anaesthetic techniques, patient monitoring, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:The CNS level includes advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, and support to junior staff.Prepare patients for anaesthesia, including physical assessments and reviewing medical histories.Provide post-anaesthesia care, including pain management and monitoring their recovery.Assist in the development and implementation of anaesthetic care plans.Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for anaesthesia procedures.Educate patients and their families about anaesthesia procedures and post-operative care.Demonstrable knowledge and application of policies and procedures within the anaesthetic domain.Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsCommitment to continually engage in Quality Improvement in line with accreditation requirementsMandatory Criteria:Registered Nurse with current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia registration with AHPRA.5 years' experience in Anaesthetics with exceptional clinical skillsAnaesthetic Qualification.Excellent verbal and written communication with computer literacy.Please note all applicants must currently possess the right to work in AustraliaCura Day Hospitals Group offers excellent career opportunities for nurses, health professionals, support staff and managers.
