PLASTERER / PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TRADESPERSONThe Esteem Group is a well established Plumbing, Building Maintenance and Renovation company based in Melbourne.We work across domestic and commercial properties throughout Melbourne's Eastern, Inner Eastern, Inner North and Inner South Eastern suburbs.Due to continued demand, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team full time.
This is first and foremost a plastering role.
While there is variety in the work, the majority of your time will be spent on plastering andplaster repairs, so strong hands on plastering skills are essential.This role would suit a skilled plasterer who also enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is happy to assist with painting and general maintenance tasks between plastering jobs.WHAT WE OFFERFull time stable employmentCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance plus fuel card (you decide)iPhone, uniforms and PPE suppliedWeekly paySupportive office and management teamConsistent flow of plastering and renovation workLong term opportunity within an established businessABOUT THE ROLEYour day will primarily involve:Plaster repairs, patching, setting and finishing of walls and ceilingsWater damage plaster repairs and replacement, including insurance restoration workInstalling recent plasterboard,



cornice and ceiling sheetsPreparing plastered surfaces ready for paintingPainting of internal and external surfacesGeneral maintenance, carpentry and minor repair tasks to support renovation projectsGeneral handyman and property maintenance tasksMaintaining clean, organised and safe job sitesABOUT YOUProven experience as a plasterer, with the ability to patch, set and finish to a high standard.
This is the key requirement for the role.Experience across both repair work and new plasterboard installationPainting experience will be highly regardedStrong attention to detail and pride in your workmanshipGood communication and customer service skillsReliable, punctual and well presentedAble to work independently and manage your time effectivelyPositive attitude and team focused mindsetWhite Card and current Driver Licence requiredAbility to pass a National Police CheckAbility to obtain or pass a Victorian Working With Children CheckPlease note this is not a general handyman or carpentry role.
