You will be involved in supporting our production department by maintaining equipment, as well as assisting our maintenance team with steel fabrication projects.Strong mechanical aptitude is important, with electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic experience being advantageous.
You must have the ability to read technical manuals and drawings.Experience with any of the following is desired.SandblastingSpray paintingWelding and fabrication in steel and sheet metalMIG weldingTIG weldingOxy cuttingUse of rolling machinesMaintenance of industrial machineryCompletion of an apprenticeship in a suitable disciplineOur ideal candidate will be someone willing to learn current skills and take on a variety of tasks - the most important thing is your attitude!
Standard 6:00am–2:30pm Mon-Fri work hours, with requirements for overtime being rare and planned in advance.
