This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our dedicated team at Calvary Mater Newcastle.
In this senior role, you will deliver high-quality clinical services, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff and help shape the future of social work services within a compassionate and values-driven healthcare environment.

ABOUT YOU:
Bachelor of Social Work or other equivalent qualification and eligible for membership of the AASW
Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in psychosocial theory and assessment
Demonstrated ability to work with patients and their carers with at times of crisis and those with life-limiting and/ or terminal illnesses, including at end of life
Demonstrated experience in a hospital setting and ability to undertake high level assessment and brief intervention skills within this setting
Demonstrated advanced organisational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated capacity to provide staff supervision and demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
