We keep Australia's most modern workshops moving — and now we're looking for a skilled professional to join our growing service team.Job DescriptionJoin Precision Automotive as a Service Technician/ Hoist Installer, delivering expert service, repairs, and installations across our industry-leading workshop equipment range, including wheel service and hoist systems.As the face of our business in the field, you'll combine technical expertise with excellent customer service to ensure equipment reliability, outstanding workmanship, and safe, efficient outcomes for our customers.
This is a hands‐on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, values safety, and enjoys solving problems on‐site.Key ResponsibilitiesService, repair, breakdown and installation work on wheel service and vehicle hoist equipmentDiagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant repair solutionsComplete work to manufacturer specifications, technical standards and company proceduresTest equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation following service or installationManage on-site jobs efficiently, escalating issues or scope changes as requiredAdhere to all WHS policies, procedures and safe work practicesDeliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes, minimising rework and repeat visitsAccurately record labour, parts usage and service activities in company systemsIdentify and manage hazards, applying appropriate risk controls at all timesMaintain required licences, certifications,



safety documentation and compliance recordsContribute to continuous improvement and exceptional customer service outcomesQualificationsTrade or technical qualification relevant to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or automotive equipmentCurrent driver's licenceExperience servicing, repairing or installing mechanical or electro‐mechanical equipmentField-based technical experience in a customer‐facing environmentExposure to wheel service and/or hoist equipment desirableStrong safety awareness and disciplined work practicesHigh standards of workmanship and attention to detailForklift Licence (preferred)Clear communicator with customers and team membersWillingness to learn and develop technical capabilityProfessional, respectful and solutions‐focused approachAdditional InformationWhy join our team?
