Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ experienced Registered Nurses for their Intensive Care Unit, in a full or part time capacity.
Suitable applicants will require at least 3 years' experience working in a critical care environment.
Ideally you will hold a post graduate qualification in critical care nursing or be willing to work towards in the future.If you meet these criteria, we would love to hear from you!

The ICU at Knox Private is a 14-bed unit, catering for both emergent and elective patients including cardiothoracic patients.Our theatre complex comprises of 15 theatres including both a Day Procedure Centre and a Hybrid Theatre supporting a range of acute specialties including General, Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgeryAs a Registered Nurse,
Intensive Care Unit your responsibilities will include:Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient careDemonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processesAct as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practicesCollaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuumMaintain qualified and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomesPost Graduate Certificate in Critical CareIntensive Care, or 3 years' experience in ICU (desirable)Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedFlexibility to work a full rotating rosterWhy Healthscope?
