About the role
We are looking for a Commercial Maintenance Carpenter / Handyperson to join the Lylex team.
In this role you will carry out various maintenance tasks for clients.
This includes tasks such as: refurbishments, fit out and de-fit out projects, repairs to building facades and interiors, patching and painting, plastering, waterproofing, replacing doors and door locks,



and related ad-hoc maintenance duties.
This is a six month fixed term contract position in Melbourne, reporting to the Managing Director.
You are required to work three days per week.
Typically, you will start at 7am and finish at 3.30pm.
This will vary from time to time depending on project and client requirements.
We provide maintenance services to a variety of commercial buildings.
You will work across multiple client sites across the Melbourne metropolitan region, predominantly in the CBD.
You are required to provide your own Ute or vehicle suitable for carpentry work and tools that are in good condition.
Skills and experience:
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in maintenance carpentry is required
Cert III in Carpentry required
Construction white card required
Australian driver's licence required
Australian work rights are required for this position
