Position Overview
FairWind is seeking expression of interest from all levels of technicians to join our growing team across Australia with multiple projects in different regions in Australia.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing and installing wind turbine components, ensuring quality standards are upheld, and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
You will collaborate closely with the installation team and site management, contributing to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.
The ability to read, interpret, and understand work instructions is essential, ensuring productive and accurate execution of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and execute the lifting and installation of wind turbine components, including blades and towers.Ensure all tasks comply with safety protocols and quality standards.Accurately read, interpret, and follow work instructions and project documentation.Complete necessary documentation to support quality assurance and compliance.Communicate effectively with the installation team and management to coordinate work activities.Adapt to changing project needs and demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse tasks.Take opportunities to expand your skill set and take on additional responsibilities within the scope of the project.

Construction White CardCurrent and Valid Driver's LicenseThe ability to pass pre-employment medical
Desirable Qualifications:
APS experienceValid Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) certificationIntermediate/Advanced Rigging TicketHR LicenseMinimum of 3 years' experience in the wind energy industryElevated Work Platform (EWP) ticketProven experience in rigging, lifting, and installation of wind turbine components, including bladesThe ability to read, interpret, and understand work instructions and documentationVestas Enventus or C&D; certificationFamiliarity with Vestas or other major wind turbine systems
