Dentist on Waverley is a well-established, family-focused practice in Wheelers Hill with a reputation for delivering exceptional dentistry in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.We're now seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join us on a casual basis – offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle, 2 to 3 days a week.
(Monday, Tuesday & Friday)Your day-to-day will include:Chairside assistance – supporting dentists during procedures with instrument handling, material mixing, and smooth workflow coordinationSterilising, organising, and maintaining instruments and equipment to the highest standardsGreeting and supporting patients,



ensuring they feel informed and comfortable throughout their visitMaintaining accurate clinical notes and patient recordsManaging front desk tasks including booking appointments and handling enquiriesPreparing and stocking treatment rooms for the day's patientsWhat we're looking for:Previous experience or qualifications in Dental Assisting (Cert III or equivalent preferred)A friendly, professional manner with strong communication skillsHigh attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and infection controlKnowledge of Exact dental software (preferred but not essential)A adaptable, can-do approach and ability to thrive in a busy practiceA genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient careWhat we offer:Flexible shifts to support work-life balanceA supportive, collaborative, and inclusive team cultureThe chance to be part of a practice that values both its patients and its people
