Our work makes a real difference every day.This is not a typical office-based drafting role.
You will be out-bound, in the community meeting clients in their homes, consulting with Occupational Therapists, measuring spaces, designing accessibility solutions on a tablet, and preparing clear, accurate and compliant plans that help transform lives.We are looking for a practical, people-focused Draftsperson to join our team on a flexible 4 to 5 days per week, contractor basis (ABN), with opportunities for additional days.We are also seeking someone who is interested in becoming a valued long-term member of our team.Mobility Access Modifications has over 21 years' experience delivering home modifications for elderly and mobility-impaired clients across Melbourne.

with opportunities for additional days.We are also seeking someone who is interested in becoming a valued long-term member of our team.What We OfferFlexible contractor arrangement (ABN)Salary of $40-$45 p/h4-5 days per week with potential for additional workWeekly travel allowanceReputable business with established industry presence, systems and supportFriendly and supportive team environmentMeaningful work that genuinely improves people's quality of lifeAbout YouExperience in drafting, building design or residential constructionStrong measuring, planning and practical awareness of space and dimensionsAbility to communicate confidently with clients and allied health professionalsPractical problem-solving skills and strong attention to detailWillingness to work out of the car, using tablet drafting softwareExperience using drafting or design software (ArcSite experience advantageous)Current driver's licence and reliable vehicleWhat You'll DoWorking across Melbourne's inner and some outer metro suburbs, you will:Visit clients in their homes to assess accessibility requirementsMeet with clients and Occupational Therapists onsiteMeasure and document existing homes and access pointsDesign practical home modification solutions including ramps, steps, door widening, and other accessibility improvementsPrepare accurate plans and drawings using ArcSite on a tabletEnsure all designs are practical and compliantAttend occasional meetings at our Preston officeWhy Join Us?
