Yellow Iron Fleet is seeking a full time trades assistant for its Bendigo Workshop!
Daily duties will include
Sanding, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before painting
Masking and taping components to protect areas from overspray
Assist with mixing paints to correct specifications
Set up spray booths and equipment for painters
Move and position machinery or parts for painting
Clean and maintain paint shop equipment
Assist tradespeople with lifting, moving, and assembling components
Perform basic maintenance or workshop duties as needed
To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Must work well in a Team environment
Willing to perform other manual tasks supporting the maintenance and commercial spray-painting team.




Operating and assisting with maintaining equipment.
Assisting with other ad hoc general labouring duties
Must pass a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
Communication - effective communication skills, both oral and written
Great work ethic - self-motivated, hard-working, punctual and reliable
Have a current and valid driver's licence & reliable mode of transport.
