Hindustan Imports is afamily-owned processor and packer of food ingredients (including seeds, grains, nuts, herbs and spices) for thefood service and retail grocery industry.We are seeking an experienced production assistant / machine operator for immediate start to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria.Key responsibilitiesOperating food processing and packing equipment, including vertical form-fill-seal machines.Pre and post cleaning of equipment to the highest standards of quality and cleanlinessSome manual repetitive lifting up to 25kgWork closely with other members of the production and warehouse teamsOther general duties connected with food processingQualifications and skillsExperience with form-fill-seal machines and other relevant processing/packaging equipmentSound mechanical abilities and basic computer literacyAttention to detail and good communication skillsTolerant of nuts and other typical food allergensRemuneration:Casual role, leading to permanent full time38 hours per week (no students)Valuable working conditions10% employee discount from retail storeNOTE: Only those with full working rights should apply.
