Casual Disability Support Worker position on a fortnightly rotation ofactive night, weekday, afternoon, split and weekend shiftsinclusiveofpublic holiday shiftsas required (remunerationper respective shifts in compliance with theSocial, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (MA************).
The following requirements also need to be satisfied in orderto be considered for the position:Own driver's license and vehicleNational Police CheckRelevant qualifications in disability support or nursing (either completed or currently acquiring).
Successful applicants will join a small team of carers providing disability support exclusively for a person living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at their personal residence ****** minute drive from Ballarat CBD) as well as during medical appointments and social outings; the duties of which include:Providing physical assistance for all daily activities.Monitoring health of person being cared for.Attending to all general health & hygiene routines.Meal preparation and assistance.Performing basic household chores for person being cared for.
