Smile Craft Dental Tuncurry are looking for two friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic people to join our busy dental practice in a casual role as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist.
These positions are wide-ranging, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is happy to switch between clinical assisting and front desk duties.
Availability on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is essential.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
Assisting the dentist during patient treatment.
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments.
Maintaining infection control standards.
Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
Answering phones and managing appointment bookings.
Processing payments and health fund claims.
Maintaining patient records and general administrative tasks.




Supporting the team wherever needed to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
About You
You'll be someone who:
Has a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask.
Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
Is confident using computers and learning new software.
Has previous dental assisting and/or dental reception experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
