About the Role
We are currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Disability Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a participant located in the Warragul and Traralgon areas.
This role offers flexible work arrangements, including short shifts, ongoing daily support, and 24/7 care requirements, including sleepover shifts.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, caring, and passionate about making a positive difference in the life of a participant by promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
The participant requires assistance with
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, light domestic duties, transportation, and social & community access
.
This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
personal care
(toileting, showering, grooming, and hygiene assistance)
Support with
daily living activities
and maintaining independence
Assist with
meal preparation, light household tasks, and cleaning
Provide




transportation
to appointments and community activities
Offer
companionship and emotional support
Work collaboratively with the participant, their family, and the care team
About You
You are a caring and empathetic individual with strong communication skills.
You treat others with dignity and respect, and you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent
✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)
✅ NDIS Worker Orientation Module
✅ Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
✅ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
✅ National Police Check
✅ Working With Children Check
✅ Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community care or nursing
