events and group bookings from setup through to pack downLiaise with clients to ensure event requirements and expectations are metWork closely with kitchen, bar and management teams to deliver seamless functions and serviceEnsure function spaces are presented to Astrolabe Brew Bar standardsSupport the growth and success of the venue's functions offeringOperations & LeadershipLead, train and motivate front-of-house teamsDeliver exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiencesManage busy service periods and late-night tradeHandle customer feedback and enquiries professionallySupport staff development and venue culture initiativesCompliance & AdministrationComplete opening and closing proceduresCash handling and end-of-day reportingMaintain health & safety and licensing complianceAssist with staffing, stock control and operational proceduresWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership roleProven experience coordinating functions or large group bookingsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentPassion for hospitality, events and customer experienceCurrent LCQ qualification and Duty Manager Certificate essentialFlexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays
