Sales representative Plant and equipment HireConX Hire is seeking an experienced sales representative to join our dynamic sales team in Melbourne.
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, where you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building lasting relationships.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic accounts, and closing significant deals that directly contribute to ConX Hire's expansion and market presence.
This role offers the chance to work on high-value projects whilst developing your expertise in the major projects sector.Key responsibilitiesIdentify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within the Civil, Infrastructure and Quarrying IndustriesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accountsPrepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needsConduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and provide customized solutionsNegotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed revenue targetsMaintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline management and client interactions using CRM systemsCollaborate with internal teams including operations and project management to ensure successful project deliveryParticipate in industry events,



conferences and networking activities to generate leads and enhance market visibilityProvide regular sales forecasts and reports to management on pipeline activity and performance metricsContinuously develop product knowledge and stay informed of market trends and competitive landscapeWhat we're looking forProven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally with experience selling services or solutions to Major Projects clientsStrong understanding of Major Projects across the Hire Industry including construction, infrastructure, energy or related sectorsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all organizational levelsDemonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and close high-value dealsProficiency with CRM systems and sales management toolsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslyEntrepreneurial mindset with drive to achieve and exceed sales targetsAbility to work independently whilst being a collaborative team playerBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field is desirable but not essential if you have substantial relevant experienceWillingness to travel to client sites and attend industry events as requiredWhat we offerConX Hire is committed to supporting our employees' skilled growth and wellbeing.
