Maroondah City Council has an exciting and challenging prospect for a professional individual with demonstrated experience in Assets Management role (or equivalent relevant experience) to lead Maroondah City CouncilsAsset Management team.
Working in a 5 Star Green Star Accredited facility and reporting to the Manager Projects & Asset Management, the successful applicant will provide high-level leadership, supervision and mentoring to the Asset Management Team, while coordinating the delivery of Council's Total Life Cycle Asset Management program.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the Asset Management team
Coordinating and implementing asset management policies and strategies
Developing and improving high-level Asset Management Plans
Providing advice to senior management and stakeholders
Assisting with capital and operational budget coordination
About you
You will have:
Extensive experience in asset management,



or equivalent relevant experience
Strong experience coordinating asset management policies, strategies and planning across a broad range of community assets
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to manage assets across their total life cycle
