We are seeking an experienced part time Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our finance team based in Ringwood.Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a hands-on role that will see you supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business across multiple entities while working closely with our project, purchasing and management teams.About the RoleThis diverse role combines bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll, compliance and administration responsibilities.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payroll processing and ongoing compliance within the commercial construction industry.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable processes alongside the existing accounts teamSupport Accounts Receivable and debtor management activitiesPerform bank reconciliations across multiple entitiesMaintain fixed asset and depreciation schedulesProcess weekly payroll, including EBA interpretation and complianceManage payroll-related queries from employeesProcess general ledger allocations and reconciliationsAssist with BAS preparation and month-end reportingPrepare and lodge payroll tax, superannuation, Incolink and CoInvest returnsSupport contractor reporting and TPAR obligationsAssist with builder licence,



insurance and compliance administrationProvide financial reporting support, including job profitability reportingAssist with HR administration and compliance when requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounting or related qualificationMinimum 3 years bookkeeping and payroll experienceExperience within the commercial construction, shopfitting or building industry (highly regarded)Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and payroll processingExperience working with Construction EBAs and industry compliance requirementsStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelExcellent organisational and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departmentsProfessional maturity, discretion and integrityA proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to take ownership of your workWhat's on Offer?
