About the roleYou will oversee and deliver the coordination of design and construction for all elements of transportable switchrooms focusing on Electrical Building Services & equipment.
You will partner with clients, delivering to client expectations, always working to the highest quality and safety standards.
In addition, you will:
Co-ordinate and supervise design team and sub-contractors across Fire protection design, preparation, reviewing & co-ordination of cable & termination schedules
Preparation of functional descriptions, data sheets & other project related documentations including Hazardous Area when applicable
Co-ordinate electrical equipment within the switchroom & ensure structural steel is appropriately designed to accommodate equipment
Manage technical review of project specifications & drawings to develop a full understanding of all project electrical requirements
Compliance of Switchroom, Light & Power & Electrical Equipmentensuring Australian Standards, BCA & NCC are met
Advise on electrical aspects of contracts including contracts administration, procurement, contract variations, procurement
Work Collaboratively with Project Manager to co-ordinate cable ladder and electrical installation requirements
Technical review of Project Specifications & Drawings




Lead for Switchroom Light & Power & Electrical Equipment including;
Lighting design & calculations
Electrical protection design
Distribution Board design
Cable ladder design
Security design & testing
Electrical schematic preparation
Electrical cable sizing calculations
UPS / Battery design
Testing & inspections of equipment
