Operating on the original mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook, our century-old railway welcomes visitors from across Australia and the world for authentic, memory-making journeys.About the OpportunityBased predominantly at our Belgrave workshop with some requirement to work at other locations across the Puffing Billy rail corridor, we have a full-time position 75hrs per fortnight, for an experienced trade qualified Workshops Leading Hand.
The role remains hands-on while coordinating daily workflows, supervising team performance, ensuring compliance with the Railway Safety Management System, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.This is a rare prospect to work with a team of talented trades and craftspeople ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and presentation of locomotive and carriages of an internationally recognised heritage steam rail organisation.What you'll doRepair,
