Greenmountain Food Processing is seeking a capable and accountable Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Coominya beef processing facility.This is a senior operational leadership role with direct influence over plant reliability, production performance, safety, compliance and cost.Mandatory RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:Current unrestricted Australian work rightsCurrent Driver's LicenceMinimum five years' experience managing maintenance teams in a high-volume manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical engineering aptitude and technical understandingProven experience leading supervisors and multidisciplinary trade teamsStrong CMMS experience across preventive maintenance, work orders, asset history, spare parts and reportingExperience managing maintenance in a multi-shift or 24/7 operationStrong knowledge of contractor management, permits, isolation and lockout/tagout systemsAbility to support urgent breakdown escalation outside normal hours when requiredStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skillsA formal management or trade qualification is desirable but not mandatory where the applicant can demonstrate substantial maintenance leadership experience and strong technical capability.Sponsorship is not available for this position.About the RoleReporting to the General Manager,



you will lead the maintenance function at Greenmountain's Coominya site.The facility is a large, fast-paced beef processing operation incorporating complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, boiler, rendering and production equipment.You will lead maintenance supervisors who coordinate a team of approximately 10 to 20 fitters, mechanics and electricians.This is primarily a leadership and coordination role rather than a hands-on trades position.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the site maintenance function and provide direction to maintenance supervisorsImprove equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns and plant downtimeStrengthen preventive and planned maintenance systemsCoordinate breakdown response and maintenance prioritiesManage maintenance KPIs, including downtime, preventive maintenance completion, recurring faults, response times, costs and staff performanceEnsure effective use of the site CMMSManage maintenance budgets, contractor expenditure, spare parts and project costs within scopeOversee contractors, permits, isolation and lockout/tagout requirementsLead root-cause analysis and corrective action for recurring failuresManage capital projects,



plant upgrades and engineering improvementsEnsure compliance with WHS, food safety, hygiene and statutory requirementsWork closely with Production, WHS, Quality Assurance, contractors and senior managementBalance plant uptime, safety, compliance, quality and costGreenmountain uses MEX.
