RDAC's services include: general practice and chronic disease management, allied health, patient transport, drug and alcohol counselling, child and family services, including; Maternal Services and Early Learning Centre, home and community care, and social and emotional wellbeing support and counselling.About the roleThe Receptionist/Driver is the first point of contact and has a major role to play in providing a welcoming induction to patients accessing the clinics services, providing administrative support to the community, staff, and clients, and providing transport assistance to patients and/or community where required, this involves ensuring the condition of the vehicles are secure, clean and ready for patient use.Key areas of accountabilitiesAdministrationAnswer all incoming phone calls.Meet and greet patients and visitors providing exceptional customer service.Monitor clinical software, including but not limited to; Booking and confirming appointments, monitoring booking types and length, Entering of new client details, Billing of patients through: Medicare,
Private, Work Cover, TAC, Ensure documentation is stored to clinical software.Monitoring of waiting room, physically and electronically, ensuring staff are aware of patients arrival.Assist with administrative functions for meetings and events, including but not limited to; Telehealth, Booking of rooms, Booking of vehicles, Catering.Liasing with internal and external providers for appointment bookings.Maintain and update patient files ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.Process incoming and outgoing mail, email, faxes, filing, scanning and documentation tasks.Maintain the clinic waiting room for cleanliness and current health promotional material.Ensure adequate supplies of consumables, such as stationary, printer, and kitchen supplies.DrivingProvide medical transport assistance to patients and community as directed.
Transport may be local, suburban or metropolitan.Maintain the condition of the vehicles, ensuring that vehicles are safe, clean and ready for patient use.Ensure that child car seats are in good condition, fitted and secured safely.Refuel vehicle and inspect for cleanliness, damage.
Vacuum and wash vehicles regularly.Document each transport including, kilometres, location, time and date.Qualification / LicensesCertificate III Business Administration or willingness to undertakeCurrent Working with Children's CheckSatisfactory Criminal History CheckCurrent Victorian Driver's LicenseSatisfactory pre-employment pass drug & alcohol screening
