The Position
We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Quality Inspector to join our expert Soldering team.
The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection, identification, and related data recording activities of CEA designed printed circuit assembly (PCA) boards, components and other electronic assemblies.
This position is well suited to a Quality Inspector with brilliant attention to detail, a strong foundational knowledge of electronic components and a passion for ensuring only the best circuit boards are produced and progressed.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections in accordance with accepted standards and procedures on manufactured items.
Create database entries for CEA designed parts and other related database transactions.
Provide workflow support to other work centres.
Processing of inward goods and non-conformance reports
Raise and process non-conformance reports.
Provide support and guidance so as to maintain inspection standards.
Documenting quality anomalies and errors.

Our Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with IPC standards, in particular IPC-A-610, 600 & 620, experience with or understanding of IPC ********* is advantageous.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Quality Control inspection, preferably in electronics manufacturing and assembly.
Comprehensive knowledge of electronic components.
Experience working within quality standards and regulations, understanding of ISO**** is advantageous.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain focus working across multiple projects.
Competent in the interpretation of mechanical and electronic drawings at an intermediate level.
Ability to be versatile and adaptable to changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.
Eligibility
An Australian Citizen;
Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 1.
