Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Fitter to join our Mackay team.

About the Role Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for manufacturing and refurbishing mining and conveyor products to a high standard of quality and workmanship.
Key responsibilities include: Manufacturing and refurbishing conveyor and mining-related products Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively Maintaining high standards of workmanship and product quality Contributing to a safe, productive and organised workshop Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A trade qualification in fitting or a related mechanical trade The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship A positive attitude and strong work ethic The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A current driver's licence Experience with conveyor systems, materials-handling equipment or mining-related products will be highly regarded.
