About the Role
Waste management and resource recovery planning and advice to clients with support from our Principal Consultant
Development of management plans, preparation of development applications and applications for Environmental Authorities, & management of environmental authorities on behalf of clients
Preparation of high standard professional and technical reports, with a primary focus initially on waste management plans including waste calculations, along with fee proposals and tender submissions to assist with business development activities
Undertake environmental compliance assessments/auditing to assist clients in meeting relevant legislation and statutory approval conditions
Provide support to the environmental monitoring staff with planning, preparation and carrying out of the monitoring program including field work
Working closely with colleagues across the business,
you will provide professional expertise, practical solutions and trusted support that helps our teams achieve outstanding outcomes.
About You
You are a highly experienced and relationship-driven Senior Environmental Consultant who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients and partners.
What you bring
Tertiary qualifications in environmental health, environmental science or equivalent
A minimum 5 years relevant skilled experience, preferably in consulting and/or Local Government – highly regarded
Demonstrated track record in compliance inspections, environmental field sampling and reporting
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Nearmaps, Bluebeam and other Mapping and GIS tools
Current Manual Driver's Licence
Strong understanding of relevant Queensland legislation, licensing and approvals
Experience in Local and State Planning documents and development application process, with the ability to prepare environmental reports
Excellent communication, time management, teamwork with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision, and stakeholder management skills
