An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join a friendly and supportive dental practice in Canberra.
This part-time position is ideal for someone with at least one year of dental experience who is looking to develop their skills, receive ongoing mentorship and build a long-term career within a welcoming practice.Working across both dental assisting and reception, your responsibilities may include:
Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards Sterilising instruments and managing clinical supplies Welcoming patients and providing a positive practice experience Managing appointments, patient enquiries and general reception duties Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team To be considered, you will have:



At least one year of experience in dental assisting & dental reception or a combined role Previous reception experience Strong communication and patient-care skills A professional, organised and reliable approach The ability to work confidently as part of a supportive team A genuine interest in learning and developing your dental career What's on Offer Permanent part-time position working three days per week
