Hobart

Sealasash restores and upgrades timber windows and doors.
We draught-seal them, we double-glaze them, and we make old houses warm and quiet without pulling out what makes them worth living in.
We've been doing it in Hobart for more than a decade and we now work across Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne and Sydney.
We're after a Sales & Operations Coordinator to join the team at our Moonah workshop.
The job
Our customers come to us.
They've got draughty, rattling, single-glazed windows and they want them sorted properly.
You take that enquiry and carry it through:
Talk to customers about what they need, on the phone and in their homes
Run site visits around Hobart and across the state, measuring and working out what each job needs
Estimate and price the work, then prepare and issue the quote
Follow up your pipeline so good leads don't go cold
Coordinate the schedule with our carpenters and trade assistants
Order glass and materials, and hold suppliers to the timeline
Stay across your projects once they're won, including timelines, variations and customer updates
Keep the CRM accurate so the team can see where everything sits
Training and handover
The person currently doing this job is still with us.
If you can start reasonably soon, you'll get several months working alongside them before they hand it over.
That's a proper handover, not a week of shadowing.
After that you'll be running it yourself, so we need someone who can work without being managed day to day.
What you'll bring
Attitude first.

We want someone responsible and respectful who wants to do excellent work and will have a crack at a problem.
We can teach you the windows.
Experience estimating, quoting or pricing work in building, trades, joinery, glazing or something similar
Comfortable selling.
Able to have a straight conversation about money and get a decision.
Coordination or project management experience, juggling several jobs and trades at once
Strong communication, written and on the phone
Confident with software.
We run Monday.com, Quotient and Google Workspace.
Able to read a plan, measure accurately, and be trusted in someone's home
A current driver's licence.
Manual
A Working with Vulnerable People card is required
If you already know heritage or timber windows, that counts for a lot.
If you don't, we'll teach you.
What we offer
$75,000 to $80,000 base depending on experience, plus superannuation
A vehicle provided
Annual bonus against a structured set of KPIs, so you know what you're working toward and what it's worth
Several months of handover training with the person currently in the role
Some Adaptable working from home weekly once you're up to speed
Full training on our products and systems
Room to take on more responsibility as we grow
A small team where you deal with the owners directly
Some travel around Tasmania and occasionally interstate is part of the job, and allowances apply.
How to apply
Hit Apply, attach your resume, and add a short note about why this one suits you.
We read them.
