Provision of clinical services to patients designated as under your direct care, to outpatients and to patients you are asked to consult in Rehabilitation Medicine,
including:Managing approximately 8 inpatients at Sacred Heart Health Service;Undertake two ward rounds per week (one of these preceding or following a case conference);Assessing patients and developing goal oriented management plans, in conjunction with patients/carers and appropriate members of the multidisciplinary team, which specify type and intensity of therapeutic input and timed and measurable outcomes;Improving outcomes, minimising overall lengths of stay and facilitating the provision of best possible clinical care.Participate in teaching and research duties;Participate in the on-call roster for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.Supervision of the Rehabilitation Medicine Registrars attached to the service;Participation in peer review, and case review meetings, as well as all academic and teaching meeting within the Department of Rehabilitation;Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent's: St Vincent's is committed to employing a workforce that reflects the community we care for.

Internal applicants i.e. current employees of St Vincent's Hospital or an entity of SVHA are required to apply via their Workday account.Selection Criteria:Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.Must hold a Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine and current registration with AHPRAHold a current unrestricted drivers licence Understand the complexities and challenges of providing rural healthcareKnowledge of, and relevant clinical experience and expertise in adult rehabilitation with an emphasis on trauma rehabilitation, amputee care, brain injury and orthopaedic care.
