Regional Insurance Brokers are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Cairns team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
This role is located in Cairns office and would suit someone looking to take the next steps in their career.
It involves but is not limited to:
Providing high level support to Head of Portfolio
Mange and service your own portfolio of clients
Attending Client meetings with Head of Portfolio
Preparing Client submissions
Managing the workflow within a dynamic team
Providing guidance to the Processing Assistants for managing new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
Servicing client enquiries
Placing risks with insurers
All general administrative duties

About You
Driven to grow the portfolio with your Head of Portfolio;
Develop and build relationships with clients and underwriters;
Experience servicing business clients;
Sound computer skills, confident communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills;
The ability to work unsupervised within a team environment;
Career focused, responsible, self motivated and enthusiastic;
Minimum Tier 2 (Insurance Broking) qualification;
Experienced using Microsoft Office.
Experience using SCTP and Insight would be advantageous.
