We are looking for a dedicated Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our team in (City, State/Region), Australia.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the ins and outs of sheet metal fabrication and installation.
This role offers the prospect for career growth and development in the utilities industry.Key Responsibilities:Training and Development:Assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Safely operate hand and power tools, as well as sheet metal machinery.Fabrication and Assembly:Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to specifications.Assist in welding, soldering, and riveting metal parts.Assemble and install sheet metal components for various projects.Quality Control:Ensure all work meets quality standards.Inspect finished products for accuracy.Make adjustments or repairs as needed.Work closely with experienced sheet metal workers.Maintain tools/equipmentParticipate in team meetingsQualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalentEnrollment/completion of a sheet metal apprenticeship program preferred
