We are partnering with an established passenger transport operator to appoint an experienced Workshop Manager to lead their maintenance operations in Kyneton.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced heavy vehicle professional to take ownership of fleet reliability, workshop performance, and team leadership within a safety-focused transport workplace.
About the Role Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Workshop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance workshop, ensuring the secure, efficient, and reliable servicing, repair, and upkeep of a heavy vehicle fleet.
You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate workshop activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure fleet availability meets operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate workshop operations, maintenance activities, and daily priorities Manage, coach, and support a team of maintenance personnel Oversee servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs Ensure fleet reliability, compliance, and operational readiness Monitor workshop performance, productivity, and quality standards Manage safety practices and ensure WHS compliance across the workshop Maintain accurate maintenance records and fleet documentation Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes,
