The Woods Medical Centre is a busy, doctor-owned general practice in the heart of Scarborough.
We are committed to high-quality clinical care and are currently expanding our services to include advanced skin health, procedures, and travel medicine.
We are looking for an experienced, resilient, and proactive Registered Nurse to join our dedicated clinical team.
The Role
You will be an integral part of our clinical workflow, supporting our GPs in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Procedural Support: Assist our doctors during minor surgeries, including complex skin flaps and grafts.
In house-training available.
· Immunisation Management: Utilise your SA Immunisation Certificate to manage our vaccine fridge and provide catch-up vaccination schedules.
· Wound Care:



Provide high-level wound management and dressings for our surgical and general patients.
In house-training available.
· Travel Medicine: Assist our doctor in delivering comprehensive travel medicine consultations and vaccinations.
In house-training available.
· Clinical Quality: Work proactively to manage clinical recall systems and support the wider team in delivering patient-centered care.
What We Are Looking For
We are a busy, evolving practice.
To be successful in this role, you must be:
· A Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered).
· Qualified: Must hold a current SA Immunisation Certificate.
· Experience: Has a minimum 2 years work experience in a GP setting
· Confident: Advanced clinical skills in wound care and catch-up immunisation protocols preferred but in house training available.
· Adaptable: You can think on your feet, handle changing priorities without losing momentum, and stay flexible in a high-volume setting.
· Team-Oriented: You take pride in supporting your doctors and collaborating with your nursing colleagues
