This is a great prospect for someone looking to build a career in carpentry, learn from experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience across all stages of residential construction.About the RoleAs a 1st Year Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced carpentry team and learn all aspects of residential carpentry.Your apprenticeship will include hands-on experience in:Wall and roof framingLock-up carpentryFixing and final fit carpentryExternal claddingRenovations and extensionsCustom residential constructionReading plans and working from construction drawingsSafe use of tools and equipmentIf you are not already registered as an apprentice, you will be formally signed up through MEGT to complete your carpentry apprenticeship and Certificate III in Carpentry.About YouWe are looking for someone who:Is genuinely interested in building a career in carpentryIs reliable,



punctual and willing to learnHas a strong work ethic and positive attitudeIs comfortable working as part of a teamTakes pride in their workIs willing to listen, learn and follow instructionsHolds a current driver's licence and has reliable transportHas completed or is currently completing a carpentry pre-apprenticeship (preferred but not essential)Previous carpentry experience is not essential.
