An established and highly regarded contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its Brisbane team.
This is a robust opportunity for an Estimator with experience across bulk earthworks, demolition and complex civil works who wants to work on large, technically challenging projects across Queensland.
The Role Working closely with the estimating, commercial and operational teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a diverse pipeline of projects.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
Completing quantity take-offs and cost plans
Pricing labour, plant, materials and subcontractor packages
Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries
Identifying project risks, opportunities and value-engineering options
Assisting with tender strategy and methodology
Working closely with project and delivery teams during tender handover
What We Are Looking For Ideally,



you will have estimating experience within the Queensland market across some or all of the following:
Bulk earthworks
Demolition and deconstruction
Major excavation works
Basement excavation
Basement retention and temporary works
Reticulation and underground services
Civil infrastructure
Site remediation and enabling works
Previous experience working with a civil, demolition, earthworks or major projects contractor would be highly regarded.
You will need to be comfortable pricing technically complex projects and working across multiple tender opportunities at different stages.
