About the role Insurify is on the lookout for a Technical Business Analyst to become part of our dynamic rotational analytics program.
This position will involve working closely with a variety of teams, such as Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Engineering, to tackle significant analytical challenges and optimize our business operations through insightful data analysis.
The role combines elements of business analytics, analytics engineering, product analytics, and data science, with a strong emphasis on utilizing SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.Location: Cambridge, MA - Hybrid Engagement: Full-time Team: Analytics TeamWhat you'll doScrutinize a variety of datasets to uncover potential areas for business enhancement and growth.Oversee and refine a crucial data product while managing multiple performance metrics effectively.Design and implement new data pipelines that align with emerging business strategies and initiatives.Innovate in the areas of data modeling and visualization to enhance overall business understanding.Work on improving the precision of machine learning models aimed at optimizing customer acquisition efforts.Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making across the organization.Perform customer segmentation studies to identify opportunities for product improvements and innovations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data-driven projects and initiatives.Provide analytical support for product development and marketing strategies, ensuring data integrity and relevance.Assist in the training and mentoring of junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics and data science to bring innovative ideas to the team.RequirementsA's Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, economics,



or a related STEM discipline is a must.Robust quantitative skills along with programming expertise, particularly in product development contexts.An aptitude for quick learning and the ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.A collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn from others.Proficiency in Python is preferred, although experience with R is also acceptable.A positive, team-oriented attitude with a solid work ethic, capable of adapting to various projects and learning from experiences.Hands‐on experience with SQL is essential for this role.Nice to haveFamiliarity with website tracking technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and analytics for pixel and event tracking.Experience with production data systems, big data technologies, and tools such as Apache Spark, dbt, and SQL.Knowledge of additional programming languages such as R, C++, C#, and JavaScript.Relevant experience in fields like Marketing, SEO, Customer Retention, or Product Management.Understanding of statistical methodologies and their application in data analysis.Previous experience in data analysis within sectors such as consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or SaaS is a plus.Skills & toolsProficient in SQL for database querying and managementExperience with Python or R for data analysis and modelingKnowledge of data modeling techniquesFamiliarity with various analytics tools and platformsUnderstanding of machine learning concepts and their practical applicationsPractical notesCandidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment as part of the selection process.Insurify provides a competitive compensation package, including stock options, comprehensive health and dental benefits, a 401K plan with matching contributions, unlimited paid time off, and a generous holiday schedule.The salary range for this position is set between $75,000 and $90,000, contingent upon experience and location.Insurify is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affiantative Action employer.
