Our client is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to play a key role in protecting critical systems, cloud environments, and enterprise data.
Working within a collaborative technology team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of cyber security controls across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.This is a hands-on technical position focused on security operations, threat detection and response, vulnerability management, security tooling administration, and compliance with Australian cyber security frameworks and standards.Experience RequiredMinimum 5 years' experience in cyber security, across the Microsoft security stack.Broad experience across security engineering and security operations.Strong experience administering and securing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview, Intune, and related security technologies.Practical experience implementing and maintaining Essential Eight maturity controls within enterprise environments.Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skills,
