As a Grade 3 Sonographer, you will be recognised as a competent practitioner in ultrasound, demonstrating strong clinical expertise and the ability to work independently.
In this role, you will operate a range of ultrasound equipment and information systems (including RIS/PACS, FirstNet and BOSS), contribute to a rotating roster with on-call, overtime and shift requirements, and perform imaging across all Barwon Health sites.KeyresponsibilitiesPerform a wide range of ultrasound examinations competently and independently, delivering high-quality imaging within required timeframes and adapting techniques based on clinical needs.Ensure accurate patient identification, provide safe and high-quality care, and adhere to all relevant clinical standards, policies, and procedures.Work closely with radiologists, contribute to a 24/7 service (including on-call), and recognise when to elevate or seek guidance from senior staff.Support training of students and junior staff, maintain CPD requirements,
