An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Landscaper Leading Hand/Supervisor to join our growing construction company based in Thomastown, with projects located throughout Melbourne.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong landscape construction experience who can supervise crews, coordinate daily site activities and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and productivity.About the RoleYou will be responsible for leading and working alongside a landscaping crew across a range of civil and landscape projects, including but not limited to:Soft and hard landscapingPavingRetaining wallsEarthworksConcretingReading and interpreting plansCoordinating labour, materials and equipmentTo be considered for this position,



you must have:Extensive experience in landscape constructionPrevious experience in a Foreman or Leading Hand roleStrong knowledge of both civil and landscape constructionAbility to supervise and motivate a small crewExperience reading and working from construction plansCertificate III in LandscapingCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent Construction White CardCurrent driver's licence (truck licence and machinery tickets highly regarded)About YouWe are looking for someone who is:A solid leader with excellent communication skillsReliable, punctual and well organisedPhysically fit and willing to work on the toolsAble to problem-solve and make decisions on siteCommitted to quality workmanship and site safetyAble to work effectively with Project Managers, clients and other tradesPlease do not apply if you do not meet the essential criteria listed above.
