Due to exciting growth our Head Office is looking for an experienced Projects Coordinator to join our team based in Moorebank.
Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for assigned projects
Assist internal customers (Sales) with procurement, strategies, solutions, delivery/logistic plans, project execution in alignment with the National Project Team vision in terms of Growth & GP
Foster strong relationships and coordinate with internal departments, overseas agents, and service providers to monitor timelines, documentation, and compliance requirements
Assist in planning and tracking milestones and resolving operational issues
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, helping deliver projects safely, efficiently and to client expectations
Undertake market research and development on Renewables, Oil & Gas and Infrastructures to ensure the Company can participate in winning the business
Assist in managing timely completion of tender processes (negotiation of bids, RFQ's and quotations), assessing project requirements to evaluate the Company's capability to deliver and secure the work
Coordinate, plan and manage the operational handling of cargo movement per regulatory, customers and budget requirements




General Port Operations - Loading/off loading vessel supervision, tally, preliminary assessment of damages/shortages, and supervision of Rigging, Cranage, Packing and Assembling Operations
Site Operations - management representative duties, site management of operational staff, client liaison, training of client's staff in matters relating to Project Logistics, quality & risk management, administrative assistance
Perform a physical inspection of the cargo where required
Determine the method of packing and cargo transportation, as well as the route of cargo movement required
Assist with sub-contractors/3rd party service providers' engagement in accordance with requirements
Update and maintain CW1 data, review project file and identify all costs incurred, raise invoices and facilitate payment
Ensure strict compliance with Company and Global HSSE and Compliance guidelines/regulations and recommend changes to processes and/or to the quality system when necessary
Undertake business travel and attend conferences/exhibitions as required.

Requirements




Extensive experience with end-to-end import/export air/sea freight operations within the freight forwarding industry (imports essential)
Projects experience in Renewables, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructure
Experience with roro, out of gauge and break bulk freight
Specific experience dealing with Solar Farm Tracking components at a Order, data control & planning level.
i.e. Array Technologies, NEXTracker
CargoWise Certified Skilled certification
Valid driver's license.
Strong organisational and time management skills with a highly methodical and collaborative approach to manage multiple priorities whilst being highly adaptive to the changing environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and build effective relationship to deliver high customer experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a solutions focussed mindset to add value to customers' operations
