Dysons is seeking an experienced and driven Application Specialist to join our Technology team!
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand organisational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver technology-enabled solutions that support strategic objectives.
You will play a key role in business analysis, process improvement, system implementation, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.Reporting to the Team Leader, Applications and Training, you will collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to ensure projects are effectively scoped, designed, implemented, and supported.Responsibilities:Leading business analysis activities to identify and document business requirementsCollaborating with stakeholders across the business to translate business needs into effective processes and system solutionsDriving process improvement initiatives and supporting organisational changeDeveloping business cases, project briefs, and cost-benefit analyses for technology initiativesSupporting the delivery of reporting, insights, and data models to enable informed decision-makingLeading requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design activitiesWorking with cross-functional teams through feasibility, design, testing, implementation, and go-live phasesSupporting business readiness, user adoption,



and training activities for new systems and processesManaging stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver valueKey Skills Needed:Experience and understanding of business and IT needs in transport servicesExperienced in a Business Analyst and project management capacity with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects (3+ years' experience).
Proven direct management experience in either Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processesExperience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators in country, regional and possibly globallyEnsuring accurate understanding of business case development and benefits realisation is consistently done by the teamExperience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentationAbout You:You will bring:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA customer-focused mindset with a robust focus on delivering valueThe ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business languageA structured, organised approach with a focus on quality outcomesStrong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working with othersDysons are committed to delivering innovative technology solutions that support our people, customers, and operations across the business.
