This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving safe, efficient and high-quality production outcomes while leading teams and continuously improving plant performance in a fast-paced processing environment.What you'll be doingLead day-to-day fish processing operations to ensure safe, effective and high-quality production outcomesDevelop, coach and support production teams to build capability, accountability and performanceManage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet operational demand and customer requirementsEnsure compliance with WHS, HACCP, GMP and food safety standards across all processing activitiesMonitor product quality, yield and throughput to ensure operational targets are achievedWork closely with Operational Excellence and Maintenance teams to improve line performance and reduce downtimeIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction and cost controlMonitor production KPIs and operational performance, providing clear reporting and recommendationsCoordinate with Procurement, Logistics and QA teams to support smooth operational flowMaintain accurate production, quality and inventory records for compliance and audit purposesSupport proactive maintenance planning to minimise production disruptions and maximise equipment reliabilityFoster a strong safety-first culture focused on teamwork,
