We're recruiting an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join the eSafety Commissioner and play a key role in uplifting the organisation's cyber security operations capability.In this hands‐on role, you'll be responsible for enhancing Microsoft Sentinel, improving SIEM operations, developing KQL queries, automating threat detection and response, and strengthening security tooling across the Microsoft ecosystem.5+ years' experience with Microsoft security technologies (Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Microsoft 365)Strong SIEM administration, log source integration, KQL, alerting and playbook developmentExperience with SecOps, incident response and security toolingKnowledge of Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF & Essential Eight)Relevant cyber security certifications highly regardedIf you're passionate about strengthening cyber resilience and enjoy working in a cooperative government environment, we'd love to hear from you.
